"This week, we embarked on an exciting journey with 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' Children joyfully immersed themselves in the tale, indulging in chocolate cakes and exploring story-inspired foods. We even crafted a delightful caterpillar using balloons. A fantastic experience!"
This week, our journey through 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' continued, engaging the children. They enjoyed crafting fruit faces and looking inside the fruits. We even had a fizzy lemonade explosion and painted our very own fruit pictures. Exploring our garden, the children used amazing words to describe it and some of the children were singing songs about the plants! We also whipped up strawberry cloud dough that smelled beautiful! The children used their fine motor skills by cutting sage, chard, and lettuce, filling our classroom with a delightful aroma.

In Andersen Class we've had an exciting week immersing ourselves in the story of 'Oliver's Vegetables.' The children have explored a variety of vegetables, creating beautiful prints by cutting them open. They also painted their favourite vegetables. In addition, we've been nurturing our own allotment, with lettuces, chard, sage, carrots, beetroot, parsnips, and brussel sprouts thriving. The children also enjoyed their music and PE lessons. It has been a great week!
It's been an incredible first week back! Our new story, "Oliver's Vegetables," has captivated the children. They've enthusiastically explored different vegetables and even started caring for our vegetable plot. Excitement filled the air as they crafted vegetable faces and made vibrant prints using the veggies and paint.
I am so proud of you Andersen class for you hard work!!
