Welcome back to another term. I am so excited to be back in Idowu class for more learning and more fun. Our Term Five focus in Idowu will be History and we will be researching different time periods, we are looking forward to learning about Kings and Queens, Ancient Egypt, our own individual history and much more!
What a brilliant first week back in Idowu Class! We have done some incredible learning about what it means to be a Monarch and have looked at some great British Kings and Queens.
We also thoroughly enjoyed taking part in our sponsored bounce! Thank you Chris in Burton class for organising and raising so much money for a great charity!
During week two we spent lots of time learning about Ancient Egypt. We learnt about gods and goddesses and we even created our own pyramids out of Lego! We also spent a lot of time working on our mindfulness and understanding how this can help us be ready to learn.
Our theme for week three was 'the history of me'. We spent time looking at recent history and our own personal history. We enjoyed a fabulous curriculum day learning about Dami Idowu and discussing why it is important to be yourself! In English we created a lovely acrostic poem about Aspire School, we hope you enjoy it.
